  1. Yolasky B.Meet Yolasky, Toddlers’ English teacher

My name is Yolasky Baez also known as Yayi (a nickname that one of my student gave me). I have been working at Petits Poussins Too for the past 3 years. I started as an Enrichment teacher in the PreK classroom and upon finishing my College Degree, I became a full-time English teacher in the Toddler classroom.

Imparting a second language to my toddlers help them to recognize/respect other cultures, and to develop their social skills as well, regardless their language or cultural background. As a bilingual native speaker myself, I can tell how much I benefit from being bilingual in my personal life, especially in my social life.

In my free time I am a chef :) I like to cook new recipes for my family and any celebration makes a perfect excuse to create or taste a new dish.

  2. John n.Meet John, Toddlers’ English teacher

John has been with Petits Poussins Too from the very beginning, it makes it its 5th academic year in 2020!

“I work at Petits Poussins Too in the Preschool (3 y.o+). I love working in a bilingual setting. The U.S., specifically NYC, is so diverse that it is a shame that more children are not given the opportunity to learn a second language! For me, I am teaching my students English. Some are American and some are from around the world. It is wonderful to watch the children grow in both languages! I have always been interested in other cultures and languages. I am married to an Indo-Caribbean woman and have even learned some Hindi!”
